Hawzah News Agency- Head of Iran’s seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi had a meeting with the head of the Faculty of Religion and Media university in Qom on Friday, March 29 during which he pointed out that the Faculty of Religion and Media pursues two missions and stated,” The first mission is to train personnel for inside and outside the organization. The second mission is to produce science and literature for new disciplines with the discourse of the logic of Islam and revolution, which can have many blessings.”

The head of Iran’s seminary pointed out that the faculty of religion and media should follow both directions and noted that the production of science should be based on the philosophical, jurisprudential and moral foundations of Islam and should be appropriate to the world and its new developments.”

Ayatollah Arafi further stated that moving the faculty of religion and media towards doctorate courses can strengthen scientific production, and clarified,” There is a gap in theories that are based on Islamic thought that need to answer the world's problems.”

Pointing out that the Faculty of Religion and Media can create the ground and drive the attention of dignitaries and scholars to the issue of media, he noted,” the faculty can influence the scientific movement with appropriate measures.”

The head of Iran’s seminary also stated that spiritual, moral and revolutionary education is an important matter and said,” attention to this issue will make the graduates of the Faculty of Religion and Media more qualified and knowledgeable.”
